First Band/Music style: My first band, in 1968, was called the "Suburban Lights". I was the rhythm guitar player. Styles include Surf/ Rolling Stones/ Them/ The Doors/ Steppenwolf/ Ironbutterfly/Buffalo Springfield.

Musical influences that affected my development: Stevie Ray Vaughn, Steely Dan, Hendrix, Stones, Eric Clapton. Buddy Guy, BB King, Albert King, Freddy King, Buck Owens and the Buckeroos. Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, Danny Gatton, Carl Perkins, Bill Haley, Scotty Moore, Wes Montgomery, Les Paul, Dick Dale, Barney Kessel, George Harrison, The Beatles, Santana, Eddy Van Halen, The Ventures, The Police's Andy Summers, Joe Satriani, George Benson, Elvis Presley, Brian Setzser, Duane Eddy, The Monkees, Chet Atkins, Rush Alex Lifeson, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Ten Years After, Peter Green, Jimmy Page, Robert Fripp, Etc.

Years in SB/How did I get here: I have lived in Santa Barbara for 38 years. My parents dragged my ass down here from the Bay area.

History of local bands: I was in the band "THE NEWS"/aka BRANDO". I also was in a Band Call the BLUESAHOLICS. I was in a country band called COUNTRYCLUB. I also was in a band called MOST WANTED more country... I was in a band called THE DUKE MITCHEL BAND blues and some rock... I have played with lots of local band as fill-ins and studo work.

Favorite King Bee tune: I love all the SURF TUNES!!!! That's my Favorite.

What you like to do in your spare time/ hobbies/ passions: MOTORCYCLE RIDING! PLAYING GUITAR! DID I SAY PLAYING GUITAR AND MOTORCYCLE RIDING?
